Tasting Notes
A velvety hue of dark rose petals greets you in the glass. Perfumed plums, black cherry and pomegranate uplifts graced with coffee and acacia. The Pallet excites with fresh marion berry, dark plum, tar box and deep layers of cassis with a hint of fresh cloves. Intense core of dark fruit, incredibly dense and powerful without weight. The 2010 Liar’s Poker contrasts to the 2011 in that it has a more rich structure and is incredibly long and lean, austere and structured with a deep level of complexity, the 2011 has more round smooth and supple tannins.
