The 2016 Liar’s Poker, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Jubaea Estate Vineyard, from the a premier Mount Veeder AVA located at high altitude on the southernmost end of the Mayacamas Mountain Range which divides the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Winemaker, Steve Matthiasson, is one of the most esteemed winemakers in his generation, valuing farming above all and producing wines that are less manipulated and grown from certified organic Vineyards which showcased the fruit above Winemaking tactics.  He has been nominated four times for a James Beard award for excellence in Winemaking. 2016 was hailed as a perfect growing season in the Napa Valley and a very highly praised vintage.
